Creating small artificial reefs are a great way to help nature get a good start. These are 25 sq ft constructed by transplanting corals grown on the ropes to a concrete block anchor, rebar frame and ropes.
These photos were taken while we were constructing an 800 sq ft artificial reef by taking all the corals off the ropes as they had grown so large they had to be planted. It is pretty incredible when you see how small they were on the ropes and how massive they became.
